| Welcome to Bonnie’s Travel Corner. The purpose of this Web Site is to inform her fellow Vons workers, the many friends of Bonnie and Norm’s in the San Fernando Valley Yacht Club, and Bonnie’s family church members, of the activities that we have planned for the future. We also intend to use this venue as a gathering place for fun memories of past events. Bonnie and Norm have made many new and lasting friendships through the cruises, travels and the annual White Water Rafting event. We welcome all of our friends to send us photos of the events we have shared. Mail them or e-mail them to us to be displayed on this site. |

| We started this
service about 13 years ago when Vons first bought Safeway and inherited
the Safeway Employees Association. Bonnie was asked by several people in
management if she could help in putting together a cruise for the then new
VEA. She said she could as she had already done so with her yacht club
friends. Our first cruise was aboard the Carnival ship “Tropical.” It
was quite successful with 87 people in our group. Since then Bonnie’s
been on over 35 cruises and Norm is just under 30 letting Bonnie do her
thing while he attended to work.
Norm does all of the organizing, research, making of fliers, mailing, calling and now tending this web site. Bonnie shines at being "Mommie" with all of the activities that we participate in. She’s a natural leader, and problem solver during all of our trips. We do try to participate in all the events that we create for Bonnie’s Travel Corner. We try to find the best values, and cut out all the confusion that exists when someone first thinks of taking a cruise or trip somewhere. We can also book cruises and trips for you that you do read about and if you just feel like going somewhere for a special occasion call us and let us help you. We do have access to the whole world of travel and if we can help or do a better job we’ll tell you. Vons people, don’t forget the VEA. The membership offers many advantages for you.
